We are a team of seasoned professionals with a passion for tourism and a wealth of industry knowledge. Our consultants bring years of experience working with diverse clients, from boutique hotels to destinations and multinational corporations. We deeply understand the challenges and opportunities in the tourism sector, and we are dedicated to helping our clients overcome hurdles and seize opportunities.

1999

Chameleon Strategies was established in 1999 by Dr Jens Thraenhart to support global organisations in the hospitality, travel, and tourism space to meet the changing demands of consumers. Recognising the importance of digital, Chameleon Strategies was at the forefront of creating solutions for our clients to develop new ways of consumer engagement through online channels previously not explored. Dr Thraenhart led the company during that time through projects in Asia and China, making us one of the forerunners in those markets with a strong understanding of the local markets and digital consumer trends.

2003

In 2003, Chameleon Strategies became an Affiliate Member of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation. Becoming part of a global community of leading companies striving to make tourism a driver for the better of the world.

2017

In 2017, Chameleon Strategies merged with C&O, which was founded by Gerrit Kruger in 2010, to include creative and branding services and strengthen our stakeholder engagement capacities.
